Chip Database
The Consortium Chip Database is a proposed standalone product for importing, reviewing, publishing, exploring, and generating software artifacts from versioned chip descriptions. It is intended to become a partner project to Consortium rather than another crate embedded in this workspace.
The database will cover register layouts, peripheral revisions, chip topology, memory maps, interrupts, pin multiplexing, security and address-space views, Linux integration, and source provenance. Published releases will support web, CLI, build-system, and Model Context Protocol consumers.
See the Product Requirements Document for the proposed scope, architecture, requirements, delivery phases, and acceptance criteria.
